UNLV Lee
Women in Business

UNLV Lee Women in Business is a student organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of aspiring businesswomen.

As both Historian (2022-2023) and President (2023-2024), I played a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s digital presence and brand identity.

Historian (2022-2023)

Graphic
Design

I was responsible for creating graphics to promote our events.

Building on LWIB's established brand, I infused a feminine, classy, and minimalist aesthetic to appeal to our target audience of female Gen Z and millennial college students.

social media
management

I honed my social media marketing skills by managing the organization's Instagram account, building a welcoming community through captivating Instagram Stories and short-form video content.

Photography

I initiated the group photo tradition and captured candid moments of members to provide our online audience with a genuine glimpse into the LWIB experience.

President (2023-2024)

Graphic
Design

For the first three months of my term, I took on additional responsibilities including serving as Historian due to a vacancy. I continued to manage social media, ensuring consistency while incorporating fresh creativity into our content.

My dedication to LWIB extended to stepping in as Graphic Design Historian to provide support to my team and ensure the continued success of our social media efforts.

social media
management

Leveraging my Historian experience, I maintained a focus on fostering a welcoming community through engaging Instagram Stories. Additionally, I enhanced the feed's aesthetic by implementing a consistent graphic, photo, graphic pattern.

This strategic approach resulted in a remarkable 1094% increase in post interactions, 326% follower engagement, and 66.6% story interaction on Instagram within a three-month period.

Photography

Faced with no dedicated photographer, I took the initiative to capture high-quality executive board photos myself. For precise framing, I used a tripod and the Canon app's live view mode.

This not only ensured the new e-board was introduced promptly at the start of the semester but also showcased my resourcefulness and creativity.

To maintain LWIB's welcoming community atmosphere, I continued capturing group and candid member photos.

email marketing

As President, I undertook our email marketing efforts due to the absence of a Communications Coordinator. Using email addresses from interest forms and previous year contacts, I developed and distributed newsletters highlighting upcoming events and critical updates.

When a Communications Coordinator was appointed, I transitioned to an oversight role. My focus shifted to ensuring all communications maintained the LWIB brand identity.
